This unique textile artwork was hand-embroidered by Shipibo-Conibo artisans, guardians of an ancestral tradition that expresses spiritual visions and sacred knowledge through intricate patterns. The two men simblizes a couple of shamanic healers At the center of the piece is the Chomo, a ceremonial vessel that holds the sacred medicine of Ayahuasca and Chakruna, the plant that activates visionary states. The Chomo symbolizes connection to the spiritual world and the wisdom transmitted by plant teachers.
Surrounding the Chomo are two serpents, representing the anaconda, a powerful spirit of the Amazon and guardian of the subconscious.
